PME is one of the most caring, supportive, and authentic artists I’ve ever had the pleasure of being friends with.
PME and I met in highschool art class. He was the funny shy kid and I was the strange drawing obsessed one. We bonded over our mutual love for music and art (and our interesting sense of humor). We were both into visual arts, mostly drawing at the time, but we were also both more drawn to making music.
I went off to college before PME, because I’m a couple of grades older, and went the guitar/ indie route. Spoiler alert: I didn’t pursue music in the way I originally intended, but PME ended up producing beats and has stuck with it this whole time.
I love seeing my friend post his beats consistently these days because I remember when him and I made a promise to each other that we’d release our first songs the same month. We did. But It’s only a coincidence it happened, since PME forgot about the bet (I love him), but he did sit himself down in July of 2019 and released his first beat, Peanut Butter.
A few weeks before, we sat on Facetime and told each other just how badly we loved music, we also shared our mutual distaste for the idea that college is the only way to go after highschool (and that pursuing something creative is a waste of time – we couldn’t agree less).
I may not have continued pursuing music, but I’m so proud of my friend PME for it. He’s inspired me to continue doing my own thing – even if it’s not my money maker or the thing I originally planned.
I fell in love with writing, storytelling, and sharing ideas in video and written form: and the beauty of my friend is that he supported me every step of the way. He was the first podcast guest I had on my DIY series, where I interview independent artists, and has since been on the podcast another time to share updates to his work.
It’s only been two years since our facetime call together, where we decided to take our art seriously (no matter who disagreed with us or what life through our way). And I’m proud to say he’s already accomplished a lot and has come a long way in that time.
Since his first single was released July 2019 he’s…
- Released a new beat every Wednesday and Saturday
- Started a YouTube account
- Posted two EPs on Spotify, Apple Music, etc.,
- Come out with Merch
- Sold his first beat
- Started a website
- And has been the most supportive and caring friend a person (and creator) could ask for
Well… he’s done a lot more too, but those are some exciting highlights.
Oh, and I can’t forget to shoutout PME for the intro and outro beat to my podcast and YouTube channel. If you’ve been following me for any time, you’ve definitely heard me mention him. I listen to PME everyday as I work, relax, and even right now as I write this article.
That’s how he became, and remains, my #1 artist on Spotify.

Whether I’m feeling nervous, need to get in the zone, or need some inspiration: PMEs beats are my go-to.
And I know I’m not the only one. Those who follow PME can attest that he is the most supportive and dedicated friend a person can ask for. It’s thanks to PME (who always shares the works of his friends and supports their podcasts, YouTube channels, twitch streams and more) that I’ve found a lot of other great artists that I can enjoy as well.
He’s constantly growing and learning, always pushes himself to new heights, and consistently releases quality beats that have me 100% convinced it’s only a matter of time before PME is a full-time producer.
So like I said, PME posts new beats every Wednesday and Saturday. You can listen to them on his YouTube channel, and you can listen to his singles and EPs on Spotify.
After two years of consistent creation PME has found a style that fits him well, but he’s not done there. Recently he’s been experimenting with different sounds, like his notable beat BLAIR, and you can hear an evolution in his sound with tracks like SWELL that are complexly layered and original in style.
If you’d like to learn more about PME you can check out the episode highlight I made of him for our podcast together. But most importantly, I’d ask you to check out his music using the links below.
I’ve never met someone so dedicated, kind hearted, supportive, and driven. Show some love to someone who shows love to a lot of people ❤
Until Next Time,
