The Science of Letting Go

The world is silent.

I am whole.

Everything is easy, except when it’s not.

What a heavy feeling.

The sun rises.

So do I.

Everything is routine, except when it’s not.

What an anxious feeling.

Work needs doing.

I get going.

Everything has purpose, except when it doesn’t.

What an existential feeling.

The day continues.

I have lots to do.

Everything is possible, except when it isn’t.

What a stressful feeling.

The sun begins to set.

I’ve given up.

Everything is over, except when it isn’t.

What a lonely feeling.

The day ends.

I am finished.

Everything stands still, except when it doesn’t.

What a familiar feeling.

It might be time to let go.

The world is silent.

I am whole.

Not everything was meant to be easy.

What a relief.

The sun will rise again.

So will I.

Routines will always get boring in time.

What a journey.

Work will be done, the day will continue, the sun will set again.

Everything has purpose, if I look hard enough.

Anything is possible, if I try long enough.

Everything will end someday.

What a life.

The day will end.

I will be finished once again.

Everything will stand still.

I am letting go.

The day will end.

I will be finished once again.

Everything will stand still.

What a wonderful feeling.
